TRIzon是广谱型总RNA提取试剂。实验操作快速方便，颜色鲜明，便于分层。本试剂适用范围广泛，可以从动物组织、植物材料、各种微生物及培养细胞等样品中提取总RNA。样品在TRIzon中被充分裂解的同时能够最大限度地保证RNA的完整性。在加入氯仿离心后，溶液会分成三层：上层无色水相、中间层和下层红色有机相，RNA分布在上清层中。收集上清层后，经异丙醇沉淀便可以回收得到总RNA。提取的总RNA完整性好，无蛋白和DNA污染，可用于各种分子生物学常规实验，如RT-PCR、Real-time RT-PCR、Northern Blot、Dot Blot、体外翻译等。
